Eligibility

Any person residing in Kern, Inyo or Mono Counties who is believed to have, or be at risk of having, a developmental disability may receive an assessment. Individuals of all ages, regardless of income, who are diagnosed as having a developmental disability are eligible to receive service coordination services. Children, birth to 3 years of age, who are found to be at-risk of becoming developmentally disabled are eligible for Early Start.
